How to create a WhatsApp template?

1. Go to "Channels" and click on the template manager icon.

2. Select "Create template".

3. Choose the option "Whatsapp template".

Configure your template

• Enter a template name.

• Select a language.

• Choose an appropriate category.

Header options, header options

• Select the "Header options".

• Choose the header type (text, image, video or document).

• Fill in the required information for the chosen header.

Section Body and Variables

• Add variables to the body. Include text before or after each variable.

• Provide examples for all variables used.

Footer, footer

• Add an optional footer in light gray text.

Buttons (up to 10 in total)

• Website buttons - Website button : Maximum two, URLs can be static or dynamic.

• Button "Call now" - Call Now : Maximum one.

• Quick reply buttons - Quick reply : Up to seven.

• Rearrange buttons by dragging and dropping them.

Approval and Preview

• Meta approves templates in one minute to one day.

• Preview the approved template to see the actual content.

Points to check if you encounter issues when creating templates:

• For the image template: The image size must be under 5 MB.

• For the video template: The video size must be under 10 MB.

• The template body, including variable content, cannot exceed 1024 characters.

• If your approved template is not visible in the dropdown in bulk campaign, bot builder, automation builder or live chat: Go to Channels > Template Manager > Sync Templates.
